Sign up now for the Women's Retreat and get away from the busyness of life for a weekend of relaxation and restoration at Pilgrim Pines in Swanzey, NH.
After many, many months of hustle and waiting, on June 16th, Open Door Immigration Services received notification that our application for BIA accredited recognition has been approved!
This would not have been possible without the patient and strong leadership of Abby Conger and the ODIS team! I cannot tell you how proud of them I am!
And so I invite you to share in our joy, and we welcome your prayers as we launch this new and exciting season of Ministry at Highrock North Shore.
Our endeavor is to bring the Gospel deeper into Salem and the surrounding areas by loving our immigrant neighbors by providing affordable legal services so that, together, we might open the door to full community engagement. We will do this by:
Respecting the God-given dignity and value inherent in every person
Respecting the rule of law
Safeguarding minors and the unity of families
Protecting the most vulnerable of our neighbors from abuse and exploitation
Providing high-quality, confidential, legal counsel and support throughout the immigration process
Practicing stewardship of taxpayer and donor resources through diligent processing and reporting.
So I invite you to pray: Pray that our labors might now embody the Gospel of Jesus, such that the least, the lost, and the most often overlooked of our neighbors will know that God stands with them, and so do we!
