He loved God and became a religious leader, but like so many other religious leaders of his time, he was really thrown off by all the events surrounding Jesus. Saul gets to know Jesus in a pretty amazing way on his road to Damascus. After that, Saul had to see things in a whole new light!

- “God probably didn't send the coronavirus (not like the plagues on Egypt). God doesn't want anything bad for us, BUT here's the thing - God made the world and set us free to make our own choices. Humans (Us) haven't always made wise choices and that's led to sad things in our world like viruses that make people sick. We don't always understand why God doesn't stop these things when they are happening, but what we do know is that God loves us, is with us and will help us no matter what. And God understands that it can be really disappointing because we can't do all the things we had planned. Some of the things that we can do (since we can't hug our friends) is pray for each other - that we will stay healthy and help show God's love to people who might be sick or hurting or maybe lonely (because it can be lonely not being able to do things like tea parties!) - we can do that by dropping off groceries or a meal or even scheduling an “online” time to chat and drink tea together! We can also make cards or art to mail or drop off.”
