Our Ministries

At Highrock Brookline, we believe that every member is called to use the gifts that God has provided to minister to the community. As a young church plant, we are in a unique position in that we have many areas of need that could use your talents. In the coming weeks and months we will post a list of each of the various ministries that are available and the contact for each but we encourage all members and regular attenders to consider serving in some capacity.

Open Door Ministry: The Open Door Ministry (ODM) is the welcome and integration ministry of Highrock Brookline. Our goal is to help newcomers get connected to our community as well as foster Highrock’s culture of hospitality. We’re always looking for friendly faces to help make Highrock a warmer and more caring environment.

Soul Food Ministry: SoulFood is the food ministry at Highrock Brookline that serves Sunday brunch. Everyone is a part of SoulFood when they eat; but only a chosen few get to cook and clean! We’re looking to fill both cooking and clean-up crews who serve together on a monthly rotation. Be a part of making SoulFood a place for food, fun, and fellowship. An easy way to get involved!

Children's Ministry: The Highrock Brookline Children's Ministry cares for the most important members of our church – the children. Together, those from all lifestages of the Highrock community come together to teach, guide and love our children, so that they may come to know and follow after Christ.

We consider our ministry to children to be one of our most important callings as a church community. At Highrock Brookline, we deeply desire to make Highrock a safe place for children to grow and be nurtured in the faith. We have exciting, kid-targeted programs for infants through 6th grader on Sundays during our 10:00 AM service. We hope you'll join us!

Praise Team Ministry: The Praise Ministry leads the Highrock community in worship through music in various settings, including Sunday worship. Our job is to create a safe space for people to encounter, experience and respond to God in worship. We're always looking for passionate and teachable singers, musicians, and sound engineers.

College Ministry: At Highrock Brookline, the college ministry is a vital part of the community and mission of our church. The college ministry seeks to help students grow closer to God and to one another through studying the Word and through community. The college minstry also seeks to be part of the overall life of the church such as being in involved in ministries and small groups. The beauty of the college ministry at Highrock Brookline is that it is composed of various colleges from all over Boston and that it seeks to fully interact with the various lifestages within the church.
